PELATIHAN PENELITIAN TINDAKAN KELAS SEBAGAI PEMBEKALAN MAHASISWA SEMESTER AKHIR UNTUK MENYELESAIKAN SKRIPSI

Abstract

Several studies have found that writing a thesis during the pandemic period presents its own difficulties for students. Based on the results of observations and interviews with several students, a major obstacle in completing the thesis is the lack of understanding of research methods. For students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, especially in the PAUD Teacher Education Study Program, one of the most widely used research methods is Classroom Action Research (CAR).Classroom action research has only become one of the topics in the research methods course, so it has not been thoroughly discussed. Therefore, it is necessary to hold a workshop for students on Classroom Action Research methods to increase their understanding of research methods in order to complete the final project. This activity was attended by 42 students from class of 2015 to class of 2021 and used the lecture method, discussion, and giving concrete examples of how to do CAR. As a result, all participants stated that they benefited from this activity, namely activities that were relevant to the needs of participants, and gained a deeper understanding of classroom action research.
