PELATIHAN TATA BAHASA INGGRIS SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA DI LINGKUNGAN YAYASAN LIA

Abstract

In the realm of work, being good at English can be both an additional value and employees’ competence escalation. To actualize it, a community service activity is an alternative which can be conducted. Departing from this condition, the activity aimed to escalate English grammar understanding as an effort to enhance human resources competencies. This activity was conducted online with six employees working at LIA Foundation encompassing lectures, discussion, and asking and answering question sections as the method. The participants were provided with pre and post-tests to observe their performance competence during the training. Based on the result, the participants showed a slight improvement in English grammar. They were able to distinguish parts of speech, phrases, and clauses in sentences, however, similar mistakes were still found.
