Abstract

This training was conducted for 6 months and was attended by students from various departments from IPB Vocational School. It aims to prepare students for internship programs in Japan which will be held by IPB Vocational School in collaboration with PT. YDS as the training implementer. The problem in this training is the conflicting schedules between universities, student activities and training. It makes the results of this training less than optimal. The students' busy schedules make many of them absent from the training. This can be seen from the large number of absences (alpha) obtained. In addition, the dense Irodori material and also the complex Japanese letters make students give up at the beginning or in the middle of the training. From these challenges, students who diligently take part in the training are declared to have passed the internship program to Japan, some even passed the Japanese language proficiency test or NAT Test and also the JLPT level N5. The determining factor for the success or failure of this training is the cooperation between universities, students and the training organizers.
