PELATIHAN MENULIS DESKRIPSI REALISTIS SISWA PAKET A DI PKBM AS-SAHABAT, BOGOR

Abstract

Descriptive realistic is a concrete description of an object that can be reached by the five senses, such as sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. The students at PKBM As-Friends thought that writing realistic descriptions was difficult because the material was not taught optimally before this PkM activity. The purpose of this training is to increase the potential or talents of students in writing realistic descriptions so that Indonesian language learning achievement is obtained optimally. The learning method uses (1) three paired principles: right-left, front-back, up-down which includes size, color, and shape; (2) observing and analyzing examples; (3) writing practice. The results of the training showed an increase in learning achievement about writing realistic descriptions. This can be seen from the students' writings which are in accordance with several theories and the characteristics of writing realistic descriptions. The participants' scores are categorized as good and very good, between 70 and 95.
