PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN PENGUASAAN KITAB KUNING BAGI SISWA DI MADRASAH DINIYAH TSANAWIYAH DI PONDOK PESANTREN SALAFIYAH SYAFI’IYAH SUKOREJO SITUBONDO

Abstract

One of the competences expected to be possessed by learners stayed in Pesantren Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Sukorejo is to understand Kitab Kuning. Therefore, learning Kitab Kuning is put in Local Content in the Curriculum in MTs. Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Putra. To learn this is not easy; therefore, the learners need mentors to assist them to understand it. The method of teaching employed is Inquiry discovery Learning. It aims at making the learners active in learning by discovering the content. The teachers are to facilitate the learning and lead the discussion. The result is there is the improvement for learners in understanding Kitab Kuning.
