Students' Acceptance on Flipped Classroom during the Pandemic

Abstract

Flipped classroom has been one of the option learning in blended learning for the past recent years but during the pandemic which happened in Indonesia, it became the main option for online learning. Since the pandemic outspread in Indonesia since March 2020, suddenly all the schools and universities had to close their campus so the virus does not spread further. Therefore, all the students and lecturers were forced to do online classes. This phenomenon causes many problems especially in learning activity. During pandemic, students are not prepared to study online but they are to do it suddenly. This leads to many problems both financial aspects, mental and learning motivation. This study aims to reveal the student’s acceptance on the Flipped Classroom during the pandemic in STBA LIA Jakarta. Moreover,the lecturers are not prepared as well to conduct flipped classroom for online classes. this makes the lecturers into panic in preparing teaching materials because forced to use the technology to deliver 100 percent to the students. Thus, the result of this study will give a feedback to the lecturer to improve the flipped classroom implementation during online classes.
